Emile Allen, M.D.
What is Hypnosis?
Despite what you might think, everyone has been hypnotized, including you. In fact, you go in and out of hypnosis frequently throughout the day. The very first hypnotist you ever experienced was your mother when she sang a lullaby or rocked you to sleep, putting you into a hypnotic trance. Daydreaming is the simplest illustration of being in a hypnotic state. Some other examples are: When time has passed while driving in your car and suddenly you realize you are almost at your destination, when you become emotional while watching a movie, or when you are focused on an activity and lose all track of time. Common terminologies for hypnosis are trance, state, or going into hypnosis. Hypnosis is the way to access the subconscious, or creative mind, which we all possess.
What is Medical Hypnosis?
Medical Hypnosis addresses the root cause of a person's emotional or physical condition at a subconscious level. Subtle techniques are used to access the subconscious mind in order to resolve hidden issues and create change at a level beyond conscious thought. Through these changes, a person's emotional and physical symptoms can be markedly improved or resolved.
What Makes Dr. Allen's Approach Different?
Dr. Allen, a retired urological surgeon, is a leading expert in the use of Advanced Medical Hypnosis to facilitate the resolution of emotional and physical conditions. Based on his observations both as a surgeon and a hypnotist, he has developed a profound belief in the ability of the subconscious mind to heal the body.
Dr. Allen emphasizes that all hypnosis is not the same. While most hypnotists follow the same protocol for a particular condition or phobia, Dr. Allen stresses that the resolution of each person's condition is as unique as their fingerprint because everyone has different life experiences. This philosophy, along with his intensive approach with each client, is what differentiates Dr. Allen from others and leads to his clients' high success rates.
His proven methods are founded on the principle that chronic emotional and physical conditions are the result of unresolved emotional traumas that are trapped in the subconscious mind, and therefore, consciously unknown. Through the skilled application of his proven techniques, coupled with the patient's desire to heal, Dr. Allen has helped improve the quality of life for people worldwide who have exhausted all other treatment options.
