Dr. Appleton is an internationally recognized expert for his research, evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. He completed his medical internship and residency in Psychiatry at the University of Miami, and soon after received a fellowship to study sleep disorders at the University of Toronto. Much of his research was focused on the correlation between chronic pain and sleep disorders as well as the affects of anti-depressants on sleep quality. In 2003, Dr. Appleton, who is based in South Florida, founded the Appleton Clinic in Toronto where he currently serves as the medical director.
In 2006, Dr. Appleton founded the Sleep and Fatigue Treatment Center in Delray Beach, Florida. Dr. Appleton is triple-board certified, including that by the American Board of Independent Medical examiners resulting from his extensive experience with medical legal evaluations and insurance examinations in neuropsychiatry and sleep medicine. A frequent contributor to leading medical journals, Dr. Appleton is often called upon as an expert for radio and TV, consumer publications and Internet forums.

Dr. Sharone Kushnir

Dr. ShaRone D. Kushnir is dual licensed as a clinical psychologist as well
as mental health counselor, while also a certified professional life coach
in the state of Florida. Dr. Kushnir is a professional member of the
American Psychological Association (APA), and a certified forensic
specialist. Dr. Kushnir's vast clinical experience stretches across cultures
& lifespan involving the comprehensive psychological & neuropsychological evaluation and treatment of severe psychopathology.
Dr. Kushnir completed his pre-doctoral internship in competency evaluation for the Florida courts, and for his post-doctoral residency, provided comprehensive risk assessments and counseling services in correctional institutions throughout the state of Florida. In the interim, Dr. Kushnir provided concierge psychological services in both state hospitals as well as private substance abuse rehabilitation clinics throughout South Florida.
Dr. Kushnir currently specializes in the holistic integration of evidence-based treatment involving traditional western models of psychotherapy with ceremonial entheogenic medicine. A graduate of the renowned Berklee College of Music, Dr. Kushnir serves his community with music during his free time.

Meredith Chadeayne, LCSW

Meredith Chadeayne is a Florida Licensed Clinic Social Worker. She graduated from Fordham University with honors. She has worked in numerous treatment facilities with numerous different modalities. Meredith is a trauma specialist who is trained in EMDR. At West Palm Hospital, she was in charge of the adolescent program with a focus on mental health. Meredith does EMDR psychotherapy and works with patients suffering from PTSD as well as other psychological conditions.

Aaron Arkin

Aaron Arkin began studying sleep in 1998, and has spent his entire career in various capacities in the sleep industry. He first became interested in sleep through the Psychology program at Trent University, and specialized in the relationship between Sleep, Learning, and Memory. After graduation, Aaron earned registry status as a polysomnographic technologist (RPSGT). From there, Aaron entered the Graduate Program at the University of Southern Mississippi in Experimental Psychology, where he continued his research into the relationship between Sleep, Learning, and Memory.
Following Graduate School, Aaron was hired by the company responsible for the SANDMAN sleep diagnostic product as its Canadian sleep specialist. This allowed Aaron to travel across Canada and visit every sleep laboratory. After several years of helping to set up sleep laboratories across Canada, Aaron decided to develop a program that helps patients with behavioural sleep issues – primarily, insomnia. The Evolution Sleep program was born and has been helping people sleep better since 2013!

Susie Febbraio
Susie has worked with Dr. Appleton for many years. As the Clinic Director in Toronto, Canada, Susie handles most operational aspects of the Toronto clinic.
